go to link I got to use the Windsong Dojo dance studio space for a short footbag session today. My sister uses this space regularly for her dance activities; a very nice place!
It’s been a long time since I’ve played footbag twice within a couple of days. My body apparently needs a few days to recover from my typical 1:10 abuse session (done in the bowling alley). Add to that some guilt for stranding the Wife with the kids on holiday, and I end up with some really choppy kicking. But in the spirit of the dance studio, I bailed on the adds, and focused on some silly, fun dance hacking
order flagyl online Ah, my special holiday treat – getting to kick in a bowling alley! I played like crud, but still enjoyed myself. I’ve got one short, lousy rally to share, plus one other extremely rare trick at the end – done in real bowling shoes too!
http://elainetassinarilaw.com/wp-json/ Due to the US holiday season, the cookies and candy were everywhere today. I indulged to excess. Note to self: don’t do that on my precious footbag day. Bad hackysacker. Bad!
Knowing the price of missing a second weekly session in a row, I forced myself to access my “secret” underground location, and ended up putting in 1:10 of solo footbag. Still a sub-par session, but… off the lows of my last session 2 weeks ago. I did a couple rallies of just basic kicks for the first 15 minutes, until I felt like I was in synch with the music. I worked on my torques some more too; I’ve just got to really force the speed of the spin these days. I also hit a sweet double-blender combo.
At least I got a rally on tape I’m not too ashamed to post. I included a lead-in of one of my signature moves: knee bump butterflies
. The rally itself ends in an 18 contact guiltless run. Just butterflies, paradox mirages, osises, and whirls, but… an old man has to crow about something, eh?
And just in the nick of time, too! This was the last enhancement I wanted to accomplish on the sled run: building a starting platform to give the run a little extra zing. Just as I was tacking down the carpet, the sunshine was replaced with ominous black clouds. I ran in to get the camera and take the pictures. Within 20 minutes, the temps had dropped about 10C/25F, it was pounding rain, and I was running pell-mell trying to finish tacking down the carpet and put away all my tools.
Forecast is for ice and snow. Ice is best for the sled run!
